A short documentary film that came out of a postdoctoral research by Dr. Milena Belloni (CEMIS, University of Antwerp) on the process of family reunification in Belgium. The short documentary stars Iqra and Ksanet, two young women who are finding themselves amidst the chaos of the process of family reunification. Two individuals who have walked similar but yet so different paths meet each other at the end of their process of family reunification. We get a sense of reality in the world of two women who have been through a life interrupting procedure to create a new home for themselves and their families together. Their stories are being told through a poetic mosaic collection of memories of the past and moments in the present.
